GBC Zuidas is an independent foundation set up in 2011 by -among others- ABN AMRO, ORAM and Zuidas &#8211; municipality of Amsterdam.<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/greenbusinessclub.nl\/zuidas\/participanten\/\">GBC Zuidas participants<\/a> are companies based in Zuidas who share the ambition of making it the most sustainable area to live and work in the Netherlands. Large and small businesses, government and knowledge institutes come together in the Energy, Mobility and Logistics, People, Water &amp; Green and Waste &amp; Circularity teams to develop projects and exchange best practices. They each use their own expertise to inspire and help each other within these pillars. On March 29, 2021, on the day of the 10th anniversary of GBC Zuidas, they signed the <a href=\"https:\/\/greenbusinessclub.nl\/zuidas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2021\/03\/GBC-Zuidas-Ambitieverklaring-2021-2025-1.pdf\">Ambition Statement GBC Zuidas 2021-2025<\/a>. A <a href=\"https:\/\/greenbusinessclub.nl\/zuidas\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2022\/01\/Hand-out-GBC-Zuidas-Ambitieverklaring-2021-2025.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">handout Ambition Statement GBC Zuidas 2021-2025<\/a> is available for the short version.\u00a0In 2019, 27 CEOs signed the <a href=\"https:\/\/greenbusinessclub.nl\/kennisbank\/projecten\/zero-waste-zuidas\/\">Zero Waste Zuidas<\/a> Agreement, committing themselves to a waste-free Zuidas in 2030. In 2022, several participants pledged to turn off their lights between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. as part of &#8216;Zuidas doe(t) het licht uit!&#8217;. In 2023, CEO&#8217;s from several participants signed the ambition statement to collectively purchase at least 80 percent of their products plant-based by 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Every year, GBC Zuidas, together with participants Zuidas Municipality of Amsterdam <a href=\"https:\/\/zuidas.nl\/\">Zuidas Municipality Amsterdam<\/a> \u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/hellozuidas.com\/\">Hello Zuidas<\/a>, presents the <a href=\"https:\/\/zuidasduurzaam.nl\">Zuidas Sustainability Awards<\/a>\u00a0to provide a podium for good examples.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, GBC Zuidas shares knowledge with <a href=\"https:\/\/greenbusinessclub.nl\/landelijk\/partners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GBC Nederland<\/a> and other local Green Business Clubs through the use of the <a href=\"https:\/\/greenbusinessclub.nl\/kennisbank\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>GBC Kennisbank<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Want to know more? <a href=\"mailto: zuidas@greenbusinessclub.nl\">Contact us.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Green Business Club (GBC) Zuidas is an impact organization with more than 70 participants that focuses on concrete results by initiating sustainable projects.
