🚀 10:15 – 10:25 | Product Launch: Pulitzer Amsterdam – From Sheet to Shirt 

From Sheet to Shirt rescues discarded hotel bed linen from the waste stream by transforming it into shirts, workwear, guest amenities and merchandise. During this session, Pulitzer Amsterdam and From Sheet to Shirt will launch the first collection of in-room amenities made from repurposed hotel bed linen, showcasing a practical circular solution for the hospitality industry. 

📋 10:25 – 10:50 | New EmpCo Legislation: From Green Claims to Credible Communication 

From 27 September 2026, the new EmpCo legislation will require hotels to ensure that sustainability claims are credible, transparent, specific, evidence-based and verifiable. Chrissy van Meersbergen from Green Label Service will explain what these changes mean for hotels and how to communicate sustainability efforts with confidence while avoiding greenwashing. She will also highlight how ecolabels such as Green Key, EarthCheck and Green Globe are adapting their programmes to support hotels in meeting the new requirements.

🧠 11:00 – 11:45 | Workshop: Designing a Practical Employee Engagement Plan for Hotel Sustainability 

Building on the insights from the first GHC workshop of this year, Jens van der Weele will guide participants in translating behavioural insights into a practical action plan for their own hotel. Using proven psychological principles, participants will design concrete interventions to actively engage their teams in sustainability initiatives.
